ERA4TB’s upcoming webinar on 20 September 2023, will focus on sharing the progress made with the project over the last 3 and a half years to advance the field of early tuberculosis research.

Aimed primarily at other tuberculosis or antimicrobial resistance researchers, or those involved in the drug development, the webinar will feature four presentations on key innovations within the project, including:

  • Diana Angelica Aguilar Ayala from the University of Zaragoza discussing the ‘Development of the Hollow Fibre System for PKPD studies’.
  • Laura Cioetto Mazzabò from the University of Padova discussing ‘Optimization of in vitro Granuloma-like structure assay in Mycobacterium TB’.
  • Jordana Galizia, PhD from the University of Zaragoza discussing ‘Optimized Time Kill Assays (OPTIKA) to evaluate the efficacy of novel anti-TB drug combinations in-vitro’.
  • Julien Lemaitre, from CEA discussing NHP models for TB

The webinar will run from 4.00-5.00pm CEST and will provide time for audience questions on each presentation.
